Alternative and complimentary therapies have had a huge impact on the health and well-being of the population today. So it is with the relatively new EFT therapy.
Emotional Freedom Technique combines tapping on acupressure points while stating your feelings about a particular issue you wish to resolve.
Having a long history of helping others with emotional difficulties informally but confidentially, Ruth came across EFT and discovered that she could not only work on herself, but share it with family and friends to solve their issues too. This continued for about 3 years.
Others highlighted her empathy and listening skills, so when looking for a career change, suggested she would be good in the ‘helping’ professions. This gave Ruth the confidence to proceed to train as a person-centred counsellor (which is currently on-going) and an EFT practitioner.
EFT Master Tania A. Prince in Manchester (see links page) is a very proficient trainer and practitioner and Ruth was priviledged to be accepted onto her courses, where she qualified as a practitioner 2 years ago.
The diversity of client issues that Ruth has worked with so far, leads one to believe there are no limits to EFT.
The results seen every day, through using EFT are delightful and fascinating. Ruth loves to be able to promote emotional and physical well-being through this inclusive and accessible therapy, offering her clients a safe space, confidentiality and ethical practice.
A closing quote from Ruth, “I consider myself very lucky and would like you to be able to feel that too.
